Wednesday Wave at OnlineAuction.com

With all the recent talk about Google’s Wednesday Wave, I wanted to take a moment and explain one of the results that may come up in Google.

Wednesday Wave is a Buyer and Seller Game at OnlineAuction.com. It has been in existance for just under 2 years, having been created by OnlineAuction.com Sellers in the early months of 2008.

The Wednesday Wave is a game where sellers from the site, usually from the Chat Forum, come together once a week for some ‘down time’. During this event, Sellers usually offer a ’special’, such as Free Shipping, Deals on a Specific Item (sometimes their whole store!), Buy One Get One deals (BOGO), and other ’special’ offers.

While the Wednesday Wave is a Buying and Selling Game, the event is more about the camaraderie between site Members. I think of it as having a drink after work with my co-workers!!!
